Inspired by nature, imagination, memory, and personal reflection, these paintings explore emotion through color, atmosphere, and symbolism.
Animals, the moon, stars, landscapes, and vivid color appear throughout the work, often inspired by moments, images and feelings that continue to stay present over time. Many of the paintings begin simply with curiosity: a color combination, an expression, a strange idea, or something beautiful enough to keep thinking about. The work is playful, reflective, and rooted in a sense of wonder about both the natural world and imagination.
Painting has become a way of slowing down, staying imaginative, and holding onto a sense of wonder within everyday life.
